Disneyland is the most magical place in the world! We try to take a trip there yearly, and this year, I wanted to make it the most special trip yet. With a proposal. But after 7 1/2 years of dating, I knew I had to make it special.
Not only where we in Disneyland, but we had a full week of special Disney events, including Star Wars day (May 4th). Star wars being Jessica's favorite movie, I knew this was the day I needed to ask her! And needed to make it as Star Wars as possible!
So May 4th (May the Fourth Be With You) came around, Star Wars everything, we visited Darth Vader and he helped me pop the question!
After the first proposal, I had 6 more to do that day. I wanted to give her 7 proposals for the seven years we have been together and the 7 years she has been waiting.

Darth Vader takes us back and has us line up. He points to me and says:
"We have pressing matters we must attend to. Come, stand by me"
This was the proposal to kick off the proposals. The one she had no idea was coming. I was also glad that my brother and his wonderful family was there to witness it! This is how it went down...

WHY RADIATOR SPRINGS?
Lightning McQueen went through some major life lessons in the movie CARS. Only through this growth does he find his love! Radiator Springs represents the story of evolving into the person you are and finding the one you
will be with!

This is where it all begins. The entrance to the most magical place on earth. And a proposal is just that, the beginning of something magical! This is where it all starts! And yeah, our magical journey will probably be filled with just as many cartoon characters.

First, this has got to be one of the coolest rides ever! Shoots you up crazy fast and crazy high and then you drop stories. Scary, intense, but in the end, totally worth it all! And like any relationship, you gotta find the one that is worth the ups and downs!

WHY THE PARTNERS STATUE?
Walt and Mickey are the perfect duo. One would not be as great without the other. Everything was built off this relationship. Becoming a team and building something incredible all while creating smiles and laughter along the way!

Luke was stuck, and felt like there was no way out. But, he wasn't alone. With the power of the force he was able to free himself. Sometimes we all need that little extra help, and it helps to have a little extra something (or someone) to help you out of a bind! (and to not get eaten by a Wompa)
WHY SNOW WHITE'S CASTLE?
We all want to live in a fairytale. This is the epicenter of the Magical Kingdom, this is where the magic is emitted from. Just being around here you can't help but be happy and smile. And this is what her love does for me. The center of my Magical Kingdom!
