As a young farmer on St Croix, I had several friends share stories of the benefits of Moringa Oleifera. One farmer in
particular gave personal testimony of the healthy feeling his whole family had when eating Moringa that they added to
virtually every food they ate.

Moringa immediately came to mind one day when Patricia, my 92-year-old grandmother, was complaining of lethargy
and a lack of energy. I brought her a popular locally made drink we call “Chlorophyll” and the very next day she was
calling asking that I bring her more “green drink”. As a life-long academician and author of several books, Patricia was
soon back to her writing every morning, adding Moringa leaf powder wherever possible to her meals.

As knowledge of Moringa spread to my family, friends, and the wider public I started harvesting leaves from any tree I
could find and processing it into powder to keep up with demand. I learned from a legendary local R.N. at the hospital
how to make the freshest and highest quality Moringa leaf powder possible. Soon my best friend Tippy tried the
Moringa and was immediately sold on the natural strength and energy he felt when using it. As a Musician, a local
entrepreneur, retailer and Yale law school graduate, Tippy wanted to develop the product and make it available to more
people. Moringa Lion was born.

The next few years were hectic as we struggled to keep up with local demand for Moringa Lion. We drew the attention
of another St. Croix native who was now living in Miami, having founded a pharmaceutical wholesale distribution
company. His hometown pride and an appreciation for gardening inherited from his mother inspired Ricky to join the
team and FarmMed Resources was created.

FarmMed Resources now has a pharmaceutical grade, USDA Certified Organic, FDA cGMP compliant processing facility
in St. Croix. All our Moringa is grown in the USA on certified organic farms, right here in the US Virgin Islands. We pride
ourselves in the green vibrancy of our product, picking our Moringa leaves and dehydrating them immediately in low
heat conditions, to maximize both freshness and nutrient quality and to ensure that the consumer gets the freshest
products possible.
